About Marianas Prime
May 9, 2008
I wanted to write a quick post about what I already know about the Marianas Prime Corporation… to share as much information as possible about the company, its practices, and its people to give anyone helping the search more information to start their search.
According to an old MPC brochure I remember seeing back in 1993 or ‘94 when they were actively recruiting Kerri, they began operations in the mid-50’s as The Marianas Project. At the time, it was lead by its founding team consisting of (if I remember correctly) 5 men. One was an astrophysicist, two had military backgrounds(including one high-ranking military intelligence officer), and the final two were Charles D. Hailey (the self-made New York investor and MPC’s only known public figurehead) and a rarely-mentioned silent partner known only by the initials H.R.H. Speculation has been made about US government ownership since its inception, though on paper it has only existed as a corporation and the only known ties are the reported Anion Rocket and Power technology sales to various branches of the government.
On paper, MPC was only properly incorporated in 1971, and all publicly available incorporation forms on file list only Charles Hailey and “the Marianas Partnership” as company signatories. It was in that year that they announced the sale of the Anion Rocket to NASA, although there is no public knowledge of NASA ever launching any privately-developed commercial rockets during that period. Additional claims have been made on the MPC website of selling Field Charge Cells(FCCs) to the armed forces, although in researching this I have yet to hear from any military supply specialists that such an item has ever even available to any branch of the military.
Currently, the Marianas Prime Corporation’s website at www.marianasprime.com remains online exactly as it appeared in 1998 – with no visible updates made since 09/02/1998, the date all MPC personnel apparently vanished into thin air. However, a link to an “employee intranet” can be seen on all pages. Upon clicking it, a user authentication dialog shows up asking for a username and password combination I’ve never been able to find.
At the time of the occurrence, MPC reportedly had around 10-15 research and development facilities across the US, mostly along the western seaboard. I’ve not been able to find exact locations for most of these, but I will be posting a small list soon of general locations as best I know them.
That’s all for now. Let me know if you develop any further leads…
